I'm an editorial director and healthcare strategist on a mission to create meaningful content that solves business problems. My team tells stories that help our collaborators build trusted relationships with their audiences. It all starts with brilliant ideas.
I currently serve as director of publications at NYU Langone Health in New York City. During my tenure in executive leadership, NYU Langone has catapulted to the top of most national rankings. Today, it’s the #1 hospital in New York. To support that stratospheric growth, I have produced a robust portfolio of innovative and award-winning content, from consumer-style magazines to innovative forms of digital news. Our series of patient guides, called The Operator’s Manual, takes inspiration from the classic owner’s manual found in most glove compartments. You own a manual for your car. Why not for your body?
A core part of my role is shaping editorial strategy across the institution’s ever-expanding repertoire of channels and platforms. That includes overseeing NYU Langone's employee news portal, which reaches 46,000 readers, as well as content for hundreds of digital signs and media walls. After I implemented a soup-to-nuts overhaul of content on the employee portal, engagement boomed, with monthly views jumping from 10,000 to 46,000 in just two months. I've also quadrupled content output without expanding staff or budget. Analytics drive our content strategy, and I'm passionate about using data to improve quality and efficiency.
For me, it’s all about rallying the team to think big, deliver quality, partner well, and have fun.
Print, digital, metaverse (eventually)—I handle it.
